Program Overview

C-SASI offers learning programs for anyone currently working in the sex addiction/partner trauma fields, or anyone who wants to become equipped to give support to those affected by these issues. What distinguishes our advanced training/mentorship modules is that they:

  • Are built on clinical sex addiction/partner trauma best practices
  • Are founded on Christian principles
  • Include both one-on-one and group learning opportunities
  • Include both online and face-to-face learning opportunities

Following completion of module 3, C-SASI candidates can apply for certification in their area of study (clinical, pastoral, group facilitator or coach).

Clinical Modules

Following foundational, clinical training in:

  • Sex addiction, by AACC (or other approved training partner), or
  • Partner trauma, by APSATS (or other approved training partner)

our clinical "modules 2 and 3" will help clinicians round out their theory and find support for their practice. These modules provide an opportunity for those who have previously focused on sex addiction treatment to learn more about partner trauma treatment and vice versa. Moreover, there will be an opportunity to engage in a specialization relevant to the trainee's clinical practice. All learning will be grounded in a Christian worldview. Successful candidates may apply for CCSAS—Certified Clinical Sex Addiction Specialist—certification.

Pastoral Modules

Following foundational training in sex addiction and partner trauma by Naked Truth Project (or other approved training partner), our pastoral modules 2 and 3 will provide education and support to pastors and lay leaders working with those in their community affected by sex addiction and partner trauma. Upon completion of module 3, the trainee can then apply for certification as a CPSAS or CLSAS Certified Pastoral/Lay Sex Addicion Specialist.

Group Facilitator (A Door Of Hope) Modules

Following on the A Door of Hope facilitator training program, the C-SASI modules 2 and 3 take lay leaders (usually peer-facilitators), coaches or therapists further into the best practices for running a betrayal trauma or sex addiction support group. Upon completion of module 3, the trainee can apply for certification as a CFSAS Certified Facilitator Sex Addicion Specialist.

Coaching Modules

Following foundational training in:

  • Sex addiction, by AACC (or other approved training partner), or
  • Partner trauma, by APSATS (or other approved training partner)

our clinical "modules 2 and 3" will help coaches round out their knowledge with clinical best practices and find support for their coaching work. Moreover, there will be an opportunity to engage in a specialization relevant to the trainee's area of focus. All learning will be grounded in a Christian worldview. Successful candidates may apply for CSASC certification—Certified Sex Addiction Specialist, Coach.
